Preparing for our adventure
Hello Folks!
I'll be keeping this post short, but I thought I would fill you all in!
The Lord really blessed us with the 10k for the bus engine, but unfortunately there are some extra overage costs that we still need. This is an extra $5,000 that we are really contending for and we need it before we can get Judah back.
As we get ready to head out here are a few things going on in our community:
My Mom (Cristina) has quit her job and her last day is February 10Th. Even though she will miss her friends and the job that she has, she knows God has called her to do this with us. We are so excited to have her on tour and be apart of this ministry she really holds us all together!!
We will be adding another girl to our community the first 3 months of tour, her name is Brittney Mae she came to our show in Houston and right away we all felt a connection with her. Just a week later she came up to Dallas to celebrate the last day of Chanukah with us and we all knew she should join us on our Spring/Summer tour. We are so excited to see what God has for her in this season and what an asset she will be for our ministry!
Hunter and I (Saphraine) are preparing for our little baby to come! In just 2 weeks we find out if we are having a boy or a girl and we can't wait!! We know this baby has such a calling and destiny, we are so excited to be touring as a family and allowing God to have full control!
Please be praying with us as Xaundelle is in Cyprus preparing and interceding for the things of the Lord and all of us here are getting ready to go out on an adventure.
We know God is faithful and has so many things set before us, we just can't wait to see him move through our Ministry.
Also please be praying for our finances, we will still be paying a portion of our mortgage while we are on tour, and paying off the bus. We need all the help we can get!
If you feel led to donate towards Judah, Our CD, Travel Expenses, or anything in General please go to www.menastreeswalking.net/donate/
Thank you so much for keeping up with us!

Men As Trees Walking
Wednesday, January 20, 2010
Welcome to 2010!
So the New Year has started and I have a lot to tell you about!
In November Hunter and I (Saphraine) found out we're going to be PARENTS!!! I am now 15 weeks pregnant and we have heard our sweet little baby's heartbeat! Our plan is still to go forward with Men As Trees Walking and bring our bundle of joy with us, I am so excited to be sharing this experience with my children and I know God will definitely show his grace in this time.
After the New Year we were really struggling with the money for the bus engine and we found out if we couldn't put the engine in before January 31st there was a chance of losing Judah. So we all went into extreme prayer and fasting so we could get the $10,000 we needed. Within a week we found someone to float us the money! Hallelujah! Even in the rough times and in the unsure, God comes through and provides!!
He IS a great and powerful God!
Our plans to go forward with full-time ministry is still in motion, we are slowly but surely selling our things and getting ready for the new season ahead.
The Lord has really been speaking to me about this next season with Men as Trees Walking, showing me his grace is sufficient and his love is ever-powerful.
It's so hard to give up everything you know, move away, and have complete trust that the Lord will continue to be faithful in his provision ESPECIALLY bringing a baby into this situation. The questions like 'will we have enough money for diapers, wipes, clothes" are for sure scary for me! I don't know how to be a Mom! But I HAVE to continue to trust that HE is in control!! He knows what He has called us to do and He has still blessed us with a child so He will provide and be faithful!
In this time I am believing for great things, he is the true provider and He IS faithful!
"In the mount of the LORD it will be provided." Genesis 22:14

Playing Catch-up!

Hello Everybody!!
I am terribly sorry for the absent post these last few months!
We DID get home safely!!!! Our last stop was in Medford Oregon as explained in the last post. We came home to Dallas safely and started scrambling around for the upcoming wedding [Saphraine (me) and Hunter (guitarist)].
The wedding was October 10th 2009 and it was BEAUTIFUL! God really provided every step of the way for our wedding and we couldn't be more thankful for all who helped and could be apart of our special day!
Ian (bass player) and his wife Elysa are officially moved in to the Aguirre household! Elysa has also 'officially' joined our band as Keyboardist and background vocalist. Right now we are playing locally in the DFW area and preparing for next years line-up.
So, let me tell you what God has in store for us for 2010!!
Slowly but surely he is providing the money for our bus' engine., Our bus, by the way, is still sitting in Medford, Oregon. But we know that God is our provider and He will bring the money in! This bus is a gift from the Lord and He has for sure put this vehicle in our lives for a reason, He is teaching us patience, obedience, and how to reach out to the body for support (not an easy thing for our dad, Allan).
We were really hitting a road bump in finances and we were all getting a bit weary, so we turned to the Lord and He reminded us about the words that we received while our whole family was in Cyprus. God told us we would be a mobile family, over and over that we would be traveling together and that this ministry would be bigger then we could ever imagine!
We saw just a glimpse of the gifts He is going to pour over us during our show in Diamond Bar, California. We were so blessed by the people and the way they all served us there. That was truly Yeshua's body coming together! Again!
So listening to the words of us being a mobile family really got us thinking. We need to walk in that! No matter how scary, hard and to be honest, CRAZY it may sound! It is what He has called us to do! We are all preparing to quit our jobs, sell our belongings, buy an engine for our bus and hit the road FULL-TIME!
We can't wait to see what He has in store for us! The amazing testimonies and lives that we have the opportunity to touch! More and more confirmation about this is coming to us every day, we know this sounds crazy and ridiculous but He is a radical God!
We want to live by the Holy Spirits leading and this is it for us! Why let anybody stop us from being in the Lords presence every day!?
Now that you know what is going on with us, we hope to have both your prayer and financial support. We are here to serve the body of Christ through our ministry in any way we can! Please keep us close to your hearts as we step into this new journey!
Our plan is to be back on the road in April/May 2010 so be looking for Men As Trees Walking in YOUR city!!
And Jesus answered and said , Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, but he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

Catch up! Catch up! Catch up!!
Posted on FB (http://facebook.com/menastreeswalking) Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 9:58pm
So sorry about the lateness of this post!!
We have been INCREDIBLY busy!
I am hoping to get caught up on things that happened in Medford Oregon.
During our time in Medford OR, we got to further minister to Elijah, show him what a family is like serving the Lord. Also My Dad (Allan) got to lead a friend of one of the families to the Lord. He was a struggling drug addict and dedicated his life to Yeshua!! The Lord is so good to work through any situation!
Well I know you are all wondering and probably already know but, we raised enough money for our 15 passenger van!! Everyone pitched in and worked as much as possible to get the rest of the money!
The following day we packed up our bags and got ready to hit the road! We were all so sad to say goodbye to all the different families that helped support us and took care of us. We hit the road and headed for Redding CA, where our hitchhiker friend Elijah was being picked up by his Aunt. It was a sad goodbye as we will miss him very much!
We arrived in San Diego through all the LA traffic and crazy downtown drivers we made it only an hour late! (haha) They were so gracious to let us set up, get ready, AND eat before we played. We led worship at The Sanctuary San Deigo and after I got to pray for a young girl to be filled with the Holy Spirit!
After we played in San Diego we spent the night with my Aunt Michelle and Uncle John, my Aunt is weeks away from delivering a Baby boy! We are so happy for them and it was so nice to see the nursery all set up for him!
The next we headed out for Diamond Bar CA, to check into our hotel before playing at “The Sunday Night Gig” the next night at Raul Reece’s Calvary Chapel. Our show that night was going to be broadcasted live on the web. We were SO excited! It was a beautiful hotel and a beautiful church! We had the best time ever! Even though Xaundelle and I were a little under the weather we pushed through and had a GREAT night of worship! Afterwards we got to spend time with Sonny from P.O.D and my Cousin Airec it was such a great time before heading home to Texas!
Our drive to Texas was long and quite uncomfortable, I got even sicker as the days went on and had to catch up on some serious rest when we got home.
But we have made it home safe and sound!
Now back to our lives as we scramble for wedding plans, getting work, and back to planning for our next tour.
Our bus is unfortunately still in the shop in Medford Oregon and we are all praying and fasting for the money to come in to fix the bus and pay it off. We need $30,000 for a new engine and to pay it off.
We know it sounds like a lot but we are all praying and fasting for the money to come in. Each of us fast 3 days a week, because we believe the Lord to provide for us like he has so much already!
Thank you for your Love and Support and continuous prayer!

Medford Oregon?
Hello everyone, so sorry it's been so long since I last posted.
So much has been going on and I will try to fill in the blanks later.
This blog is an urgent post, we need you to be fasting and praying for us as much as you can.
The Lord is working in mysterious ways and I am going to try and share with you as much as I can.
Saturday we left Portland OR to go to Redding California. We were ready and excited to see what the Lord had for us there. Not even out of Oregon and only 3 hours from Portland our Bus started to smoke. What now? We jumped out of the bus with fire extinguishers to see what’s going on. Trying to make it just a mile longer to the next rest stop but the smoking didn't stop, white smoke filled the air every time we accelerated.
At the rest stop other truckers said they think our engine is blown because of the color and smell of the smoke. We unfortunately didn't know where we were and if there was anyone we knew around us. We got a hold of Ted Bruun and he said he had a friend only 45 minutes away.
Not even an hour later we got a call from a guy named Michael smith saying he wasn't in town but his house was open to us and he will send his brother in-law and a friend to come pick us up. Not even 2 hours later we had rides to the nearest town Medford OR. We walked into a beautiful home with 5 kitties and TONS of food available to us! The next day we had a chance to play at their church and share with them about our ministry.
A friend of theirs has a company that fixes trucks and RV's and he was more than willing to help us out. By Monday morning we heard it would cost somewhere between 2000 and 3500 dollars to fix it. Unfortunately we don't have that kind of money, so right away everyone started thinking of ideas how to raise money. We decided to put on a show, a bake sale, and to offer all of our individual’s services for an auction. By Tuesday morning Xaundelle, Elysa, and I were baking away! We made over 100 cupcakes, 100 cookies, and 3 pies. Tuesday night we offered hair cuts, landscaping, house cleaning, music lessons, and construction, we played our set, sold merch, and had TONS of prayer for our finances.
Wednesday our day was full I did 6 hair cuts, Elysa and Xaundelle cleaned 2 houses, and the guys were busy with landscaping and music lessons.
News on the Bus was that it would take 2 weeks to fix if we could even get the money! So we started looking into renting a van to go to our shows in California and make it home in time for my wedding!
There was no way for us to rent a van so we started looking into buying a cheap 15 passenger van. By 4pm my dad got a hold of a dealership called Ron Martin Wholesale and they had a 2001 Dodge 15 passenger for 5,900. We offered 3000 and they said they would consider. By 5pm my dad was at the shop checking out the van to see if it was worth it, supposedly the pastor of the church that we played at Sunday knew Ron and told him to make sure we get the best Van for 3000.
The van is in great shape and they said we could have it for 3500 and they would wave the 500 for 2 weeks.
We only have 2500. We need 1000 by Thursday morning at 9am.
We need this money, we need to get to California, and we NEED to get home!
PLEASE PLEASE be praying with us as we contend for this money. We have 14 hours until we need this money. Help anyway you can.
Thank you so much for your prayers!

Our Washington adventures
Where to begin!
We finally made it to Camas, Washington for Tom fest 2009!
But unfortunately there was no internet and so we couldn’t keep up with our blog! I will do be doing a lot of catch up Today!
We arrived Thursday August 13th and awaited my mother’s arrival. Meanwhile we set up camp and took over almost the whole back end of the festival! We had laundry ropes (to dry clothes) a table with a camping stove and 2 tents for my mom and dad, and the Delgado family. We were rockin it!
Saturday Ian, Elysa, and my Dad left for Portland and weren’t returning until Sunday, my Mom and Dad got to spend the night in the city while Ian and Elysa spent the night with Ian’s uncle. So Xaundelle, Corin, Hunter and I were so bored we decided to walk 2-3 miles (one way) to Wal-Mart. Probably wasn’t a very good idea because I ended up with crazy blisters on my toes!! On the way there we stopped at a Humane Society, panda express, and Pet Smart. What an adventure!
Sunday rolled around and we went to a church that was held on Tom Fest grounds, it was nice and refreshing to go to a church service! Afterwards Xaundelle and I met a few ladies Paula and Denette; they were SO sweet and offered to take us girls out so we wouldn’t be cooped up all week! (SO nice!)!
Later that day Ian, Elysa, my Mom, and my Dad showed up! We were SO excited to see my mom after being away for a whole month! We spent as much time with her as possible! It was so great!! Monday we walked around the whole tom fest grounds and enjoyed camping together.
Denette and Paula came and took us girls out for shopping and starbucks we had such a good time, and we were so blessed by them, they are beautiful women of God and blessed us so much!
Tom Fest started Wednesday and it was full of excitement! We made tons of connections with different bands; got to fellowship with TONS of new people it was great! Our friend Courtney Roser came which was AWESOME! We got to see Veda and Cadance FINALLY! I love those girls!
All in all we had a great time the whole week!
Saturday was when the festival ended and my mom had to leave, it was so sad saying bye to her all of us girls just cried our eyes out! Another 3 weeks until we see her again we are so sad and miss her so much!
Sunday we left for Seattle to play at Beit Tikvah, we were very excited to see some old friends from Cyprus, we had a great time playing and the weeds are VERY hospitable! We had a great dinner with everyone and all enjoyed a birthday cake for Ian! After Dinner we had a great time of prayer and refreshing before we hit the sack!
Monday Elisha weed (an old friend of Xaundelle’s from GTS06) took Xaundelle, Hunter, and I out on the town! It was so much to see downtown Seattle, go to the fish market, and shop around for my friend Lauren’s birthday which I was unsuccessful at! We had a great time in the city and look forward to visiting again!
We left Seattle Tuesday to head for Portland, our friends Ricky and Anna opened up their home to us.
On the way south to Portland we saw a homeless 16 yr old hitchhiker named Elijah. So in faith we picked him up! He had a salad bar of beliefs meaning a little bit of Hinduism, Buddhism, Wicca, Christianity, and Krishna. The second he stepped on our bus all of our hearts just broke for him! Immediately we started ministering to him and telling him about Yeshua Messiah! We gave him the choice to stay the night with us and he decided to take the risk! That night after dinner my dad just poured his heart out to him and told him about truth and love and compassion can ONLY come from Yeshua!
Before we knew it Elijah was asking for prayer and deliverance, before the night was over he was burning belongings that had spirits attached to them and repenting for spirits that he has attached himself to! God is so good and so faithful to bring back his children!
Please be praying for Elijah as he continues to search for God’s heart and continues to grow in the truth.
We are having a great time here in Portland and we should be home in 3 weeks! Hallelujah!
Thank you everyone! We love you!
